Christmas Around The World Japan

The Japan greeting is Meri Kurismasu. There are not many Christians in this Country, but Christmas is a time to host important events and programs in their Churches and share the Christmas message with others.

The Japanese celebrate like America and Canada. Trees are decorated but they use paper fans and lanterns , dolls and flowers. Hoteiosho is the Japanese god who has eyes behind his head to see what child is good tobrings gifts. Some Japanese enjoy Santa traditions as well.

Christmas Around The World  Italy

Merry Christmas in Italian is Buon Natale!  And the first Christmas Carol’s probably came from Italy.  And mangers are set up and left empty till Christmas  Eve. When baby Jesus was born.

Most children do not receive gifts til Jan. 6th.  La Befana brings them. She rides in on a broom stick and goes house to house searching for the Christ Child and leaving gifts for all the good children.

Crafting Time 30 day Updating Challenge

Crafting Time 30 day Updating Challenge

Crafting Time will be starting a 30 day updating challenge to create a user friendly space for crafting.  You will see blogs all about what to do and what to change.  Organizing is only part of a solution and cleaning up and tossing out trash all helps.  I will be starting in a room from scratch.  And building it up.

You can follow me and create what you need to be creative in your space as well.

Each day will be something different.  And you can see the  my room by following me on Facebook.com/craftingTimeCathleen or on this blog.  We will be starting Dec 26th, 2020 and end I hope on January 25th.

I will post a calendar soon, so you can follow Crafting Time.

Are you ready?
