Organizing Paper To Craft

Here is an idea to hold your crafting papers.  Yes it is a shutter. And you can easily hold the 12 x 12 papers, and vinyl’s, glitter papers, and so much more.

Here is how I made this cool idea.  I took fabric and slide it through the slot of the shutter.  Than I used Gorilla Mounting Tape and put across the shutter slot.  than I pulled the fabric back through the slot leaving enough room for the paper 12″ x 12″ to show on the other side (that is the front and the pocket is the back.) The paper should be no higher than the slot in front.

Than I repeated the process to get this great and undamaged paper storage.   this is what I used for years.  And Jennifer from Jennifermaker.com used this as well but did it just a bit different than what i do.  To check hers out as well go to

Open up your storage boxes and bags, it will save you lots of money.

Open up your storage boxes and bags, it will save you lots of money.  .Do you have things in boxes for later use? or a bag tossed in the corner or tucked in a box for a project later.  I just went through 6 large boxes and found my flowers that was packed away.  What was amazing on this all, is I had just made a list of flowers for my shopping spree for crafting.  I would of spent at least $200.00 on flowers.

It is snowing out and we are expecting 6 inches of snow.  I did not want to drive in the snow, so I decided to do clear out my boxes.  What a discovery.  I have enough flowers with out any doubt for at least 1 year.

I went though the flower patch by separating stemmed flowers, and made a beautiful display with those flowers.  The flowers that did not have a stem went into a bin, and will be used in immediate projects.  And the leaves for the flowers were put into a bin as well and will be added to the flowers as they are used.  For some reason the stems and leaves of the flowers were removed from the flower.

If you follow me on Facebook you will be able to see all of what I did to organize the flowers.   This little time consuming project saved me lots of money.  Open your boxes and bags from you storage and see what you can save and use, before your next project. Save your money and use what you already have.

Ping Ping Dog

How fun this dog was to make. Its amazing how a few ping pong balls can create a dog.

First thing to know .. if you use hot glue… to much will melt the ball.. or pop it. Use a touch of glue, only. And do not touch the metal on the ball.. it will melt into the ball.

Supplies: 8 ping pong balls, 2 bubble eyes, foam ball for nose, red glitter sticker for mouth, foam for ears, and a golf tee for the tail. And of course hot glue. And a ribbon for collar.

Dogs that love to play

Dogs love to play. And this is a Border Collie and they love to fetch and return a ball or freeze bee or bring you a stick or 2.  Very full of energy and loves attention.  The more the better.

They are also a shedding year round dog. And will need to be de-shedding about 3 to 4 time a year.  Best done with a groomer.

This picture is a Cricut craft I made from CraftwithSarah.com for those who wish to make one. The heart I added for my own likes.  Sarah has 2 bundles and are very cute.
