Leprechauns Catapult

Leprechauns Catapult is so fun to make and to play.  We used scrape wood of 5″x5″ x 1″ and angle one of 5″x 8″ x 1″.  Then we added the large craft sticks and hot glued 6 to be the base of the catapult and the hot glued one large craft stick to the tip of the bottom board and to the edge top of the catapult base.  At the top of the catapult launch we added a mini muffin paper cup cake holder.  We decorated the Catapult to look like a Leprechauns, with green and orange beards of pom poms and large bubble eyes.

Are you ready to Launch?

Place your ping pong ball in the launch, now push it down just a bit.  And now, release and launch your ball to your target.

Now wasn’t that fun?  Lets play some more.

Mr. Easter Bunny

Mr. Easter Bunny found the Gooses Gold Egg that was stolen form the Goose a few days ago.  Mr.  Easter Bunny is looking around but can not see the Goose anywhere.  Poor Ms. Goose, thought  Mr. Easter Bunny.  ” I will put it safely in to her Easter basket,  and bring it to her on Easter.”

Do you remember fun stories as a child?  Really to make our imagination grow.  How exciting to know that the Goose will receive her  Gold Egg back this Easter.

With using material around the house, we created this adorable Bunny.  Using Styrofoam balls, felt, ribbon, felt, paper tubing and napkins.  Bringing Mr. Easter Bunny to your imagination.

Bird Community

Bird Community

Welcome back our birds that flew south for the winter.   This lovely Bird House Community  brings spring into your home. And what a conversational centerpiece for  spring table setting.

Made from things out of  the reusable box material.  And found bird houses in the storage. It is time to use them.

Material to make this Bird House Community:

Wood egg shaped board, painted in 3 colors of green mixed with some white. Tinsel to create a grass look in the community.  Wood dowels for perches for the birds to relax on.

The Birds are sculpt, using Air Clay Molding Clay. The Air Clay birds, will need to dry, 24 hours, after that, paint with enamel paint.  The birds are placed in natural areas in the community.

The adorable bird bath,  has several materials: shot glass, turned upside down;  a bottle cap, placed on top of the shot glass;  open heart glued  to the cap; and bling around the edging of the open heart.  The bird bath bowl is a 1/2 of a ping pong ball with hot glue painted blue for the bath water.

A true example of turning clutter into a beautiful centerpiece for the spring seasonal table.
