Q & A Crafting Time

Here are some Q & A  that can help you get to know your Coach Cathleen:

What is your favorite craft to craft?  and Why?

My favorite craft is to craft with all sorts of materials and make an amazing and useful project.  Like this Plant Eating picture above.  It was made with a  broken pumpkin and a stained pot.  I put them together, not know it would turnout to be a Plant Eating Centerpiece.  It was sure fun to make and is adorable.

What kind of scissors do you use?

I use many scissors, because not every material can be cut by one pair of scissors.  My go to scissor is really my dog grooming 7″  barber scissors.

what material do you like the best to work with?

I use so many materials.  Cardstock paper is an essential for crafting.  And if children  or Seniors are creating, I would suggest construction paper because it is easier to cut for them.  Hot Glue is also a material I use a lot of.  In fact I use it on just about every craft.

How would you start a beginner crafter to start crafting?

Oh what a fun question.  Lots of people start crafting and find out that getting things ready for a craft can take longer than the craft itself.  Because they are looking and thinking they need it  all to make a craft.  So not true.  Start out with simple projects, like modge podge a picture or favorite napkin on to a board,  it will make a lovely wall hang.   Another craft that is fun for all ages is to hammer flowers &  leaves onto a cardstock and make cards and envelopes with this fun method.  Crafting out side the box is the most rewarding and can be fun for every age.  Now lets get crafting!
