Christmas Around The World “Austria”

Austrians begin Christmas on St Nicolas Day. And ends on Epiphany. Evergreens decorate all around their homes. And the tree is hung upside down in and decorated with paper ornaments, nuts, apples, and candles. Lights may be used in our modern times. This becomes the “Lord God’s Corner.” Or “Christ Child Corner.” Oc Christmas eve gifts are placed under their tree while the children are sleeping.

Families attend midnight church service and sing Christmas Carol’s like “Silent Night”

Light Up “tic, tac, toe Game

What a great fun twist to “tic, tac, toe,” game. Kids love the game and turning on the lights and shutting off the room lights, give your child/children a little special time of spooky fun.

Football “Touchdown!”

Love the Football season. And here is a craft you can do while watching the games. I use 2 football wire frames and wrapped the wires with twine. Added plastic white rope tubing for the laces and the 2 white rings on a football.
